Meet The Family
Here you will find pictures and mini-bios of all my herps, minus the many little baby cresteds I'm caring for.

Pets are listed in alphabetical order.

Name: Aphrodite
Gender: Female
Species: New Caledonian Crested Gecko
Morph: Cream-yellow mild chevron back
Background: Bought off of Craigslist April 4th 2007. Originally from Petco.
Extra: Mating with Stickyfingers.

Dropped her tail.

Laid first two eggs May 24th '07.

Name: Brynhild
Gender: Female
Species: Chinese Water Dragon
Background: Bought off of Craigslist August 2nd 2007.
Name: Flatfoot
Gender: Male
Species: New Caledonian Crested Gecko
Morph: A hint of the white-fringe trait. Seems to be a mild version of the chevron back morph.
Background: Bought at reptile show in December of 2005 without tail.
Extra: Flatfoot is insane and not afraid to nose dive.

Mated with Medusa.

Name: Frogger and Greensleeves
Gender: Male and unknown
Species: White's Treefrog
Background: Frogger is from PetsMart. Adult when purchased. I've had him since June 25th 2006.

Greensleeves is from PetCo. Adult when purchased. Bought 10/16/07.

Extra: Frogger enjoys singing, sleeping, eating, exploring, and soaking in his large pool.

I tried to feed him an earthworm once and he spat it back out!

He got his name from the computer/arcade game.

Frogger likes to croak in response to the garbage disposal.

Greensleeves lives with Frogger and has a really pretty blue tone in his happy color.

Name: Gloopy
Gender: Female
Species: Leopard Gecko
Background: Got her 6/11/07 from a relative of a friend who no longer wanted her. I don't know how old he is.
Extra: I have never seen a gecko so fat!

The previous owners thought her to be a HE so I wanted to name "him" Willy Wonka, but "he" just didn't look the part. The name "Gloopy" came from Augustus Gloop. Far more fitting.

The previous owner also said that she was afraid of crickets, but she is a real hunter!

Picture to come.
Name: The IMFrogs
Genders: Unknown
Species: Cricket Frog
Background: Wild-caught
Extra: Four cricket frogs, named after the Mission Impossible characters, Phelps, Cinnamon, Rollin, and Willy. Barney, unfortunately, managed to escape and didn't make it.
Name: Jack Sparrow
Gender: Male
Species: Leopard Gecko
Background: Bought off of Craigslist May 21st 2007. Extra: Was very thin and was not cared for properly. He is missing all of his claws except for one or two as well as most of toes.

He also has trouble catching crickets on his own so I feed them to him with tweezers.

He's starting to look much more healthy and has gained a lot of weight since I first got him. He even grew more colorful!

Name: Jazeira
Gender: Female
Species: Bearded Dragon
Background: Got her 6/11/07 from a relative of a friend who no longer wanted her. She's about three years old.
Extra:
Missing one claw on her left toe.

Is content to sit on my shoulder while I watch movies and sit at the computer. She is sitting here as I type this.

Name: Kiwi and Guacamolie
Gender: Probably both Female
Species: Green Anole
Background: Kiwi was Wild-caught and Guacamolie was rescued from PetsMart July 2007.
Name: Medusa
Gender: Female
Species: New Caledonian Crested Gecko
Morph: Harlequin with some white fringe
Background: Bought off of Craigslist April 4th 2007. Originally from Petco.

Mated with Flatfoot.

Laid her first two eggs May 21st '07.

Picture to come. Name: Radagast

Name: Splish and Splash
Gender: Probably male.
Species: Oriental Fire-bellied Toads
Background: From PetsMart. I've had them since 2005 or 6.
Extra: Both are brown.

Splash seems to have had a calcium deficiency at one point as his tail bone sticks out awkwardly.

Name: Sticky Fingers
Gender: Male
Species: New Caledonian Crested Gecko
Morph: At first thought to be a Patternless Buckskin, now is more of a Light Tiger.
Background: Bought at reptile show in December of 2005. The seller assured me he was definently a "she." A few months later I discovered otherwise.
Extra: Mated with Aphrodite.
Name: Tristan and Isolde
Gender: Male and Female
Species: Jones' Armadillo Lizard
Background: Bought from PetCo November 7th 2007
Extra: I fell in love with this species when I got Greensleeves and had to get a pair of them. Am hoping to breed them and really get into them. :)
