• Winners are up for the last round of the Add Effects challenge and the new round (the theme is "Pippin") is open.
• New Wallpaper contest entries.
• One new regular blend challenge entry. It is now closed for judging.
That's all for this update. I did win some lovely awards from Estella Brandybuck's site too, so I'll try to get those up with the next update along with at least one of the new sections I mentioned before (which are coming along nicely).

• It was time to take Middle-earth's look to a new level. What do you think?
• Added one new affiliate, Telpeath's Gift.
I do have a handful of challenge entries to add and I am also working on building a few new sections of the site which I think you will all enjoy. Keep checking. I hope to have these up within the next month or so.

Nice big update this time. Finally got around to adding all those entries that were piling up. Hope you're all have a good start to summer. • The winners of the last Guess Who contest are up. The Guess Who contest is currently closed (though it may open again in the future) so that I can put more focus on the blend challenges and other contests.
• New poll and results up for the last one.
• Changed the background for a smoother fade on the right side of the layout. What do you think? Better?
• Updated the message board button above.
• New Art Contest entry.

5/21/08 • Yes, new layout already. That was probably our shortest lived layout to date, but I just got bored of it. Hope you like this one. I will get the screencap of the last one up when I can. I hope to have some bigger updates for you soon.

• Middle-earth was awarded the "Award if Elegance" from Terrisnook.com!
3/15/08 Though I adore this layout (mostly because of the Tolkien poem I used) I feel it is time for Spring! So I will be working on a new spring layout. I will most like get it up with the next update. • Winner of the Caption Contest is up. Round 8 is open!

2/27/08 Aragorn Crown Award Nominees, please be patient. ;) I hope to get to the judging and award making for this round soon, but I've been very busy lately.
•For the first time in ages, I updated the Games section! There's a new game called Tower Defense! Check it out. You can even make your own LotR games at fyrebug.com and submit them. If they're good, I just might add them.
