Arwen's Sacrifice
Is there a greater way to show your love
Then to relinquish life for your loves sake?
Arwen yéni ú-nót-imë vanwa
An Aragorn vanimelda.
She plighted she would cleave to him
And marry him to mortal wake.
"Ú i vethed, nâ i onnad!
Mornië alantië, suilann-galad!"

Notes:
Translation of Quenya Lines:
Arwen yéni ú-nót-imë vanwa
Arwen gave years not countable
An Aragorn vanimelda.
For Aragorn her fair-love.
Translations for Sindarin Lines:
Ú i vethed, nâ i onnad!
This is not the end, it is the beginning!
Mornië alantië, suilann-galad!
Darkenss has fallen, welcome the light!
A Ballad of Bravery
She rode into the province of men
For she'd as much cause as the rest
And the thought and the shadow she loved
Was now naught but a hopeless quest.
She'd nothing now to look forward to
And since she did not fear her death,
She sought renown in Pelennor Fields,
To have victory with her last breath.
Alas! The men began to ride out.
She disguised herself in the crowd
And when they were in sight of the war
She held out her sword and was proud.
The shouted, "Death!" then rode in to fight
Where her blade conquered many foes.
The battle went on - seemed unending -
But distracted her from her woes.
And then he came, the Lord of the Nine,
The one no living man could kill.
But she'd not let her king be broken.
She would fight with her iron will!
The Witch King mocked her saying, "You fool."
Her disguise had tricked him as well!
But she stood and said, "I am no man!"
And to her blade the enemy fell.
Galadriel
Galadriel, Galadriel,
With her Golden hair.
Galadriel, Galadriel,
A lady truly fair.
Galadriel, Galadriel,
Of Lorien is she.
Galadriel, Galadriel,
So beautiful to me.
NEW> I Sit And Dream <NEW
I sit and think of foreign lands
And all the places I have known,
Of work by fair immortal hands,
Abandoned beauty overgrown.
I dream of days, of days of old
Before the Elves had sailed away,
Imagine all the lore untold
They parted with at Havens Grey.
I ponder on the race of men.
So weak and cold, they earn my pity.
But pride, in them, is found again
Within the walls of their White City!
And then I long for that sweet Shire,
To share the lives my friends are leading.
How are those Hobbits I admire?
Then I recall... I'm only reading.
I fall back to reality
To hear a knocking sound.
Then breaks my wondrous fantasy...
I notice that my door's not round.
Inspired by Tolkien's "I Sit Beside The Fire And Think"
No Loyal Friend
I never cried though I was grieved
To find you'd lied and you deceived,
But let it slide and make believed
It was alright yet then perceived
That you had lied again despite my love for you...
Love is no more!
I let you in.
Don't ever say
I bear your sin.
You walked away.
And then you cried. I wasn't grieved
To find you sighed for you decieved.
You ought to hide, not be relieved.
I am not weak as you conceived
For you lied yet again despite my love for you...
Now Love's no more!
When you walked out
I locked the door.
Be free from doubt;
Love is no more!

Notes: My inspiration was, "In the end I'll be what I will be. No loyal friend was ever there for me." "Love is no more!" is taken directly from the song "Gollum's song" which of course made up most of the inspiration.
To Ashes
My eldest has passed.
My second has perished.
I've lost all I hold dear
And all that I cherished.
The darkness is coming.
My kingdom won't hold.
The sword is still broken
Of the tales of old.
In the halls of the kings
I shall come to sleep.
Pour the oil on me
As I stand here and weep.
I shall burn to ashes
Lying by my son.
I will come to rest.
My troubles will be done.
NEW> Would that I knew the tongues of Elves <NEW
Would that I knew the tongues of Elves
That I might wake the time-worn trees.
For I've a thirst for mysteries
I think their stories could apease.
NEW> You and I <NEW
You and I will meet again
Beyond the shadows and the mist.
Day will break the heavy night
And Sauron's evil will desist.
You and I will meet again
When all the battles have been won.
Everything will be alright
Because our story's just begun.
You and I will meet again
In summer air, in swaying grass.
Simple peace will bring delight;
The darkness of this world will pass.
You and I will meet again
Though years may pass between before.
Waves of blue and sand of white
Will welcome you to Valinor.
